PODCAST SPOTLIGHTED ALERT (YOUR ARTICLE STARTS A FEW INCHES LOWER)…
New Japan has signed a new member to their roster.
Chris Dickinson announced in an Instagram post today that he has signed a contract with NJPW. Dickson, a GCW regular and freelance wrestling player for many years, announced that the deal would also allow him to continue working on freelance dates outside of Japan.
Dickinson recently returned to the ring during WrestleMania weekend after suffering an injury in September 2021. He had also wrestled for NJPW in the United States and Ring of Honor prior to his injury.
Dickinson wrote the following about signing with New Japan on his instagram page:
I am beyond proud to announce that I have officially signed a deal with New Japan Pro Wrestling. I’ve heard you all say for years that I should sign with other companies and I appreciate your every hope for my success, but that’s what I always wanted. With increasing business expansion in the United States and the reopening of Japan, the future is brighter than ever. I’m still available to work freelance in the US and internationally, with the exception of Japan, but NJPW is now my home. Let’s continue to bring the highest level of professional wrestling to the world together.
