Tottenham Hotspur and Ivan Perisic have reportedly agreed on a contract, with the veteran set to complete a Bosman transfer.
According CalciomercatoTottenham Hotspur could be closing in on another signing of Bosman this summer after agreeing terms on a contract with Inter Milan and Croatian star Ivan Perisic.
Tottenham are already close to completing the signing of Fraser Forster’s free transfer, whose contract with Southampton expires soon. And, it looks like the Lilywhites could be two for two imminently, with Ivan Perisic likely to do the same.
Perisic has been on Inter Milan’s books since 2015 when he signed with VfL Wolfsburg, but he never quite reached the heights expected of him during his early years at San Siro. The 33-year-old then spent the 2019/20 campaign on loan at Bayern Munich where he won the UEFA Champions League and Bundesliga.
Upon his return to Inter Milan, Perisic was turned into a key part of the setup by then-manager Antonio Conte as a Nerazzurri went on to win the Serie A title, with the Croatian ace deployed as a full-back, trying out a key role.

While Conte left Inter Milan last year, Perisic stayed put and continued to be a vital cog under Simone Inzaghi. The 33-year-old finished the 2021/22 season with ten goals and nine assists in 49 games as the Nerazzurri narrowly missed out on the title.
Perisic’s contract expires at the end of June and Inter Milan have presented him with a two-year contract offer worth €5m plus bonuses. However, at the same time, the Croatian international is also receiving offers from several clubs, including Tottenham as Conte seeks reunion with his former player this summer.
With the Italian tactician unconvinced by Sergio Reguilon, Tottenham are in the hunt for a left-back this summer and have set their sights on Perisic while Brighton’s Marc Cucurella is also a target. But Perisic’s experience at the highest level and his free agency, along with the fact that he knows what it’s like to be part of Conte’s team, make him a favorable signing.
And, it is now claimed that Tottenham are close to completing the signing of Perisic, with a contractual agreement in place between the two parties. The 33-year-old would earn over €6m at the North London side once the deal is finalised. The duration of the contract was not specified, but fabrice romano claimed he could sign a two-year contract.
Chelsea were touted as the favorites to sign Perisic at one point, but it looks like Tottenham have beaten their London rivals to the punch as they look to wrap up their transfer business quickly this summer. Perisic is expected to complete his medical in London next week before making the move official.
